Great Falls, Mont. – May 1, 2026 – NorthWestern Energy is honored to be a sponsor of the North Middle School Archery program in Great Falls, Montana, and congratulates the student athletes and coaches on an outstanding season that culminated in a Montana state championship and strong performances on the national stage.

After winning the Montana state title, the North Middle School Archery team traveled to Sandy, Utah, to compete in the National Archery in the Schools Program National Archery Tournament from April 23–25. The team competed among approximately 2,500 of the best student archers from across the country and participated in three tournaments over two days.

North Middle School delivered an impressive showing, finishing 29th in the CenterShot Bullseye, 34th in the NASP Bullseye, and 40th in the NASP 3D Animals competition. The team’s dedication and preparation were evident, with 13 of 17 archers achieving personal best scores in the Bullseye competition and seven archers earning personal bests in the 3D Animals event.

“NorthWestern Energy is proud to support programs like the North Middle School Archery team in Great Falls that help students build confidence, discipline, and teamwork,” said NorthWestern Energy Community Relations Manager Shane Etzwiler. “These students and their coaches represented Montana exceptionally well, and their success at both the state and national levels is something our entire community can celebrate.”

In addition to sponsorship support, NorthWestern Energy employees volunteered their time locally in Great Falls to help set up and score archery events.

Last year, NorthWestern Energy provided more than $2.1 million in donations, sponsorships, and other support for the communities where its employees work, live, and raise their families, including more than $163,000 in donations recognizing employee volunteerism.
